Happy June! This has always been one of my favorite months. It has always reminded me of the end of another school year and summer just around the corner! Yippee!!
When I was a teenager I grew up on Long Island New York where we would take a small boat or ferry ride for 20 minutes over to a body of land called Fire Island. I have so many great memories of summer fun at this one beach called Davis Park. That is when I fell in love with the beach and found my creativity and inspiration. I used to paint a lot as a young girl so I would collect the scallop shells from the sand and paint on those for fun. . That is one of the reasons I love to paint on my porcelain pieces. They are like little treasures to me.
This weekend I will be heading up to West Reading for The Art on the Avenue show. It’s a great town to visit and a nice show if you have never gone.
I’m looking forward to showing these colorful and fun new necklaces I have been making. They are all put together with leather cords. Some are almost a choker style while others are longer. I am very flexible at shows and always bring my tool box for shortening or making something longer. I like the jewelry to be custom whenever possible.
If you have never gone to this show and are local or want to take a drive come visit me. J
Hope your month of June is off to a great start!
Peace and Lov,
